Actor? Teacher? Public Speaker?
Building your confidence and vocal freedom is fun, liberating, and empowering. Wherever you are in your vocal journey, voicework can be beneficial for nearly any profession.
Voice and Speech
Excess tension, nerves, fear, and a misunderstanding how the voice functions can all prevent a person from using the voice efficiently and from discovering the many wonderful things it is capable of. I work with clients to build a more flexible range, improve resonance, tone, articulation and intelligibility, whether you're working on a script or speaking to your classroom or sales team.
Dialect
Learning to speak fluently in a variety of dialects is a practical skill for actors. I use a variety of techniques to help clients produce the correct sounds as well as monitor their own progress. Whether a kinesthetic, auditory, or visual learner, there are techniques that allow every individual to understand and embody authentic accents and remain intelligible for the stage.
Voiceover
Working in voiceover requires more than a good voice and a decent microphone. I work with clients to learn the necessary skills to read commercial copy, create voices for animation, and take direction. I can also help you develop material to create and record your first demo.
